Today at a press conference the Florida Marlins announced a trade has been completed with the Chicago (A) White Sox. The Marlins have shipped a 3rd round draft pick to the White Sox for 33-year old closer Edwin Stephens.

Bad blood could be brewing between the White Sox and the Red Sox. In yesterday's contest at US Cellular Field, Chicago (A)'s Michael Reisman and Boston's Broderick Sutton caused the benches to empty when they went toe-to-toe against one another. Only Reisman and Sutton were ejected by the umpires.
Upon hearing that the two players had been suspended 6 games each by the league office, harsh comments came from both clubhouses.
League officials have warned both organizations about the consequences of premeditated retaliation.
