| Breaking News |  | Friday, April 23rd, 2027: League Suspends Dardar and Vick for Fisticuffs Edward Dardar of the Milwaukee Brewers and Michael Vick of the Washington Nationals received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 10 games for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Miller Park.
In the 2027 campaign Dardar has hit at a .239 clip with 12 RBIs, 7 home runs and 17 runs scored.
Up to this point in the season, Vick has put up these stats: 7 relief appearances, 3 saves, 5 IP, 6 strikeouts and 5.40 ERA. His won-lost record is 0-0 with the opposition is hitting .286 against him. |  | Monday, April 12th, 2027: Washington, Texas Make Trade The general manager of the Washington Nationals has signed off on a trade for Texas's 29-year old catcher Wayne Thompson. To complete the deal, the Nationals will send a 2nd round draft pick to the Rangers.
Thompson is hitting .258 lifetime with 698 hits, 137 doubles, 11 triples, 92 home runs and 422 RBIs to date. He has scored 345 runs and stolen 10 bases. |  | Friday, April 9th, 2027: Keefe and Clark Fight, Get Suspended If there wasn't a history between Ted Keefe of Washington and Kenneth Clark of Philadelphia, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 2 games as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today.
"We're both really competitive," Keefe said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it."
