Robert Roach of the Tacoma HS Narwhals has just enjoyed one of the better weeks of his career. That fact was not lost on Sub League 2 officials, who named him Player of the Week.
Roach logged a .412 batting average for the Tacoma HS Narwhals, racking up 13 RBIs and 2 home runs.
Looking at his stats this year, Roach has compiled a .309 batting average, while hitting 3 home runs and driving in 22 runs. He has played in 26 games and scored 21 runs. |

Speak softly and carry a big stick and you could win the Sub League 1 Player of the Week Award just like Woodrow Day.
He really dazzled on the diamond this week with a .600 average to take home the trophy. The Lincoln HS right fielder went 18-30, drove in 14 runs, scored 14 times and hit 4 home runs.
Presently Day is batting .416 with 6 home runs and 31 RBIs. He has played in 28 games and scored 23 times. |
 | Sunday, May 2nd, 2027: Moreland Hills HS Loses Moore for Year
Elmer Moore will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and stated the Moreland Hills HS reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Moore was injured while throwing a pitch in the Elks-Pillagers clash at Elks Ballpark recently. Doctors said he has a forearm strain and would be out a minimum of 7 months.
This season Moore has accumulated no saves, registered a 5.09 ERA and struck out 17 in 17.2 innings. He also has a 1-0 record in 15 relief appearances. |
