There's nothing like being in the prime of your baseball career -- and playing like it. Just ask Nicholas Boring, the Syracuse center fielder, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the Sub League 2 Player of the Week honors.
Boring piled up 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs and 11 RBIs while hitting .478.
On the season, Boring is batting .279 with 4 home runs and 20 RBIs. He has played in 29 games. |
 | Monday, May 3rd, 2027: Neiman Selected Player of the Week
25-year-old Albert Neiman sent shock waves through APBL Triple A last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Sub League 1 Player of the Week Award.
A newcomer to the league, Neiman made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .500 average, 12 hits in 24 at-bats, 1 home run and 4 runs batted in.
Where the SPringfield center fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Neiman certainly made his mark last week.
To date, Neiman has collected 41 hits for a .373 average. He has posted 4 home runs, scored 25 runs and driven in 24 runs. |
 | Sunday, May 2nd, 2027: Fajardo Puts Spell on Louisville
In an outstanding mound performance Ernesto Fajardo fired a complete-game shutout against the Louisville. He tossed a 4-hitter for Fresno to beat Louisville 5-0 at Ballpark of Fresno.
In 3 starts this season Fajardo has rung up a 4-0 record and a 1.44 ERA. |
